I have always believed that life is a journey and that if you pay attention you always find the next door that is ready to open just for you. Now that I am settling in to life in a new place, and finding the beauty in my surroundings, I have also found doors opening. I am excited about being invited to participate in the monthly ART WALK in Visalia California in November. My mixed media work will be on display at the M Squared Studio Gallery at Montgomery Square on Main Street. The ART WALK reception will take place on November 5th. Once again I will be showing new works at the library in Cambria California. These new pieces will combine photography, collage and poetry. I will also be featured in the online publication SacramentoTalent.com coming out in November or December. Perhaps the most exciting new project is the Children's Museum I will be helping to design in Fresno California. It will, of course, have a strong arts education component in both visual and performing arts; at least that's my plan and the reason for my involvement.
Previews of my book, Random Thoughts and my newest book, California In the Abstract - Images From A Moving Vehicle, are available at www.blurb.com. In late October or early November, I will publish my three new books, Eye of the Beholder - Compost Piles As Art, Sounds of the Rainbow, and WEEDS, also available at www.blurb.com.
I am once again excited and inspired. I guess sometimes you need a good shake to send you on a new path of discovery!
Good Thoughts & Peace
Wendy
